# Elucid

> Elucid develops Plaque-IQ, the first and only FDA-cleared CT-based plaque analysis platform indicated for both coronary and carotid anatomies. Using non-invasive CT scans, the histology-validated software from Elucid quantifies lesion-level plaque composition — including lipid-rich necrotic core — to help cardiologists, radiologists, and vascular specialists identify high-risk atherosclerotic disease and guide personalized, patient-specific treatment pathways.
