Testimonials
On December 11th, 2022, at the young age of 66, my sister — the most inspiring woman I have ever known — passed away when her heart failed her. Losing her was devastating, not only because she was my sister, but because she was the matriarch of our family: our compass and our strength. A short time later my brother passed away on March 15th of 2023 at age 61. He lost his battle with addiction, but we believe his heart was broken on that fateful day when my sister’s heart stopped beating. I look back and wonder, if the doctors had the ability to leverage our technology when she was having medical issues prior to that day would we have been able to see what was broken? So, from a family member perspective if we can give a kid sister one more day, one more birthday, one more Christmas, and a brother a reason not to give up the fight it’s worth it.”
I also really appreciate the culture of curiosity. New ideas are welcomed, questions are encouraged, and people are genuinely interested in exploring better ways to solve hard problems. That mindset makes collaboration fun and keeps the work intellectually energizing.
My own career growth at Elucid reflects the company’s commitment to developing its people, and as my role in the company has changed, I’ve consistently felt supported, respected, and valued.
Ultimately, Elucid is a place where people truly believe in the mission and work hard to realize it. It’s a workplace defined by purpose, collaboration, and continuous improvement, and I’m grateful to contribute to a team making such a meaningful impact and setting the new standard in the fight against heart attack and stroke.
Where Bold Ideas Create Real-World Impact
At Elucid, we’re more than just colleagues. We’re a community united by a shared mission to transform cardiovascular care. And while our work is serious, we believe the way we show up for each other matters just as much.
Community
We make time to connect, celebrate, and give back. From honoring cultural traditions like Diwali to rallying around awareness initiatives like American Heart Month, to organizing donation drives with organizations like Mended Little Hearts for Boston Children’s Hospital, our team shows up. We’re proud to be part of the greater Boston community, participating in events like the American Heart Association’s Boston Heart Walk and hosting regular team gatherings throughout the year. And, we’re proud to share, each of these events (that have now become beloved traditions) were all initially introduced and driven forward by an individual who simply wanted to share their experiences and interests with the rest of Elucid.
Whether it’s the regular buddy-lunch or walk through the beautiful Boston Commons, monthly team events, or our annual holiday celebration in Boston, we prioritize staying connected, no matter where we’re based.
People-Centered
Elucid is, at its core, an employee-driven company. Ideas don’t sit on the sidelines here: they’re shared, explored, and often brought to life. Whether you’re proposing a new product direction, introducing a cultural tradition, or cheering on a colleague running the Boston Marathon, your voice matters.
We also believe the best ideas come from diverse perspectives working together. That’s why we create opportunities for cross-functional collaboration, like our “Plaqueathon,” a company-wide hackathon where mixed volunteer teams come together to tackle complex challenges. Some of these sessions have sparked ideas that evolved into clinically impactful product innovations.
If you’re looking for a place where your everyday work matters…and where you’ll feel part of something bigger, we’d love to meet you.
And we make sure great work doesn’t go unnoticed. At our monthly all-hands meetings, we come together as a company to share professional and personal wins, welcome new team members, and recognize each other through our peer-nominated “Heartbeat Awards.” It’s one of the many ways we celebrate the people who go above and beyond for our mission and for each other.
Over time, we’ve built something special: a culture rooted in purpose, collaboration, and genuine connection. Along the way, we’ve celebrated not just company milestones, but personal ones too — engagements, growing families, graduations, publications, patents, and more.
Our Hiring Process
Our hiring process reflects how we work at Elucid:
intentional, efficient, and human.
We prioritize clear communication, transparency, and flexibility at every step. You’ll always know where you stand, what to expect next, and who you’re meeting along the way.
We’re not just hiring for a resume. We’re looking to understand who you are, what drives you, and where you do your best work, just as much as we’re sharing what it’s like to be part of Elucid.
While the exact process varies by role, it generally begins with a phone call, a hiring manager interview, then a series of in-person interviews. Every position, every team, and every candidate, is unique. Our goal is to create a process that gives both sides the opportunity to find the right fit. Because when it’s the right fit, it’s more than just a job: it’s building something that truly matters.
